I've been looking for a Dogo breeder for quite some time, and every time I've found one I was either deployed or too late to adopt one. I was relieved when I found James at Yo Amor Dogos and learned he just had a litter.
James was awesome from the first introduction message, and still continues to keep in touch with Marco and I. Every conversation we've had over the phone before Marco came to me was almost an hour (if not more) concerning pet care, question and answers, concerns, advice, experience, and most of all love for the Dogo breed.
During the transition process James and I were in daily communication concerning anything and everything with Marco, from vet visits, to photos of him being his goofy and lovable self.
James was very flexible with me since my location was pretty far from Missouri (15 hour drive), and welcomed shipping Marco via Airline to me. During this time our communication was at least two to three times daily, and he kept me updated with flight plans and times.
To this day he and I still keep in contact, and any questions I have James is always available to talk or research and get back to me.
I am now the proud owner of a 15 week 34.5 pound (probably more now lol) healthy male Dogo, who loves kids and giving kisses. Marco enjoys cuddle time, very friendly and playful with other dogs, very smart, loves car rides and outdoors.
I regret that I can only give 5 stars, because I would definitely give 10 to Yo Amor Dogos.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this breeder, and in the future I will choose another pup from Yo Amor Dogos. I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to James and his family, not only as a fellow Brother in Arms, a veteran, a father and husband, but as a Dogo lover and breeder.
